‘Young & Hungry’s’ Aimee Carrero Talks About Cooper’s Possible Return & What’s To Come On ‘Young & Earthquake’

Impending doom? Does this mean Cooper is going to make his way back into Gabi’s life?! We have some questions about the future that need to be answered and we might just visit the psychic Gabi and Sofia see on the upcoming episode of Young & Hungry that airs on Sept. 16…

Aimee Carrero, who plays the fashionable and sassy BFF Sofia Rodriguez opened up to us about Taylor Zakhar playing her on-screen brother Benji and whether or not he’ll return to our TV sets any time soon. Not to mention what kind of shenanigans Gabi and the rest of the gang get into after an earthquake hits San Francisco, Calif.

Will Benji return to the show? He did mention in Young & Oh, Brother he was glad he moved to San Francisco.

“I hope so. I hope that in season 3 he comes back. He [Taylor] was a wonderful addition to the cast and he’s not bad to look at so, we’re all hoping Taylor comes back.”

What can we expect to happen in the next episode, Young & Earthquake?

“It was really fun, they made this really cool set and I think we have some really talented set decorators, architects, and artists on our show and so it’s always nice when they’re able to get a little free reign on a set.

It’s a really interesting episode because it seems like everyone is sort of affected by this psychic. Even the people that don’t go to her. It starts with that scene [Gabi and Sofia at the psychic’s place] and then everybody sort of gets a piece of impending doom news and you get to see how they sort of navigate throughout the episode.”

Would you ever see a psychic like Sofia?

“I’ve never seen a psychic and I don’t know if I would. I am the kind of person that would try to change it or make it happen. If it was good news, I’d try to hurry it along or if it was bad news I’d try to change it. I might believe them because I’d be too cautious not to. I just don’t think that’s for me. It would totally blow up in my face.”

Have we seen the last of Cooper? Is he returning to the show?

“We love having Jesse [McCartney]. He is wonderful and such a great addition to the cast and I hope he comes back. I know the fans really hope he doesn’t come back. But we’d love to have him and we’d love to work with him again. I’m definitely crossing my fingers that he does.”
