Congratulations, boys! Vevo is throwing a celebration in honor of 5 Seconds of Summer for reaching over 100 million views — all thanks in part to the fandom who got them there! Vevo’s Certified Live is part award show, part concert and a lot of partying with the 5SOS fam!
What a huge honor for the Aussie band! While 5SOS has been derping around since 2011, it didn’t take them too long to start climbing the charts and breaking records. Fast forward to 2014, three years after they began working on music together, the foursome released their debut album, “5 Seconds of Summer” after multiple EP releases. Sure, One Direction may have given 5SOS their shot to stardom, but these guys definitely are staying afloat on their musical talent and silly personalities.
So, how exactly will Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin all show their appreciation for the 5SOS fam? By putting on a live show, of course! The second annual Vevo Certified Live event will be broadcasted LIVE on August 17 where fans can watch from all over the world to support their favorite boys! Who wouldn’t want to spend a Monday night with these four dreamy guys??
