THE SUBURBAN WHITE VICTIM

Meet Deborah Porter, wife of David Porter, the white upper class suburban mom who has the luxury of staying home to look after her house, family, and abundance of charity organizations. She’s also had her throat slashed. But is her true killer behind bars for her murder?

THE ACCUSED

Deborah’s charity case, Will, whom she took under her wing, is sitting in a jail cell for her killing. Hayes and her team are definitely suspicious of him, as Deborah did have his skin under her fingernails and he did lie to the cops when he was arrested, but he claims to have reasons to explain away the questions.

THE BLOODY FOOTPRINT

Then, the team stumbles across the most surprising piece of evidence in this case — a bloody footprint left at the scene of Deborah’s murder that matches a pair of boots owned by her husband, David Porter. Of course, David claims he gave away his shoes, which leads us to our next suspect — the gardener Luis.

THE NEWLY GUILTY PARTY

However, though Luis is guilty for several crimes against the Porter family, murder is not one of them. And although the murder weapon is found in his truck, the team quickly pieces together it was planted. But by who?

MOMMY ISSUES

If there’s one place to catch a thief on camera, it’s in a white suburban neighborhood. Cue the security footage and we’ve got our guy — Deborah’s son!

Deborah tried to separate her boy from his lover, Will, but their feelings were stronger than she could fight off. And sadly, for her, it got her killed, by the two of them.

HAYES’ MOMMY ISSUES

Hayes also tries to repair her relationship with her mom following her TV interview while her brother isn’t on speaking terms with her.

CHICAGO REVISITED

And while she’s at it, she’s trying to make amends with the silver fox. He’s fed up with her antics and surprises her with the news he’ll be hiring a new associate — someone from Chicago. Not JUST someone from Chicago, but both his and Hayes’ EX-GIRLFRIEND. Mic drop.
