#FREELEO

A prisoner named Leo, whose IQ is borderline on the spectrum, is behind bars after a jury found him guilty of starting a kitchen fire in his family’s restaurant that killed someone and injured another good Samaritan.

His two brothers have fallen out of good graces with each other over the past 15 years because they don’t agree on Leo’s innocence and guilt. Hayes struggles with the same determination as she grills Leo on the actions he took that night while closing up the kitchen. Was it an accident? Did he set the place on fire on purpose? Or was it someone else entirely who was to blame?

ZOOM IN ON CIU

Meanwhile, the silver fox throws caution to the wind and allows documentary film producers to trail Hayes and her team for the week as they try to solve the case. And their angle isn’t completely unbiased.

RULES ARE MEANT TO BE FOLLOWED

It dawns on Hayes that Leo’s linear habits due to his mental condition may be the solution to their case! And without her bad habit of stealing coworkers’ yogurt out of the office fridge, she would have never seen the connection.

I won’t spoil the ending, but let’s be real — if there’s a camera pointed in Hayes’ direction, she’s not going down without a fight!
