THE WRONGFULLY CONVICTED

Sierra’s purported perpetrator has spent his last 10 years behind bars, charged with her kidnapping and murder. But of course, he can’t possibly be guilty of her murder if she’s returned home alive!

While the overturning of his murder conviction is in the works, CIU sets out to determine whether the kidnapping charges should stick. He may not have been the guy holding her captive, but did he initially kidnap her? Did he have motive? Did he have opportunity? Does the evidence add up? And are there any witnesses?

SAM’S MISTAKE

Finding the truth for Hayes may get a little sticky as it turns out the man who prosecuted the case was none other than Spencer himself. He refuses to recuse himself from the case, so Hayes forces him to look his mistakes square in the face. Will he manage to keep an open mind?

A MORE THOROUGH INVESTIGATION

After Sam wisens up, he takes a look at the case from another perspective and thinks he’s hot on the trail of catching the true kidnapper. Little does he know, he’s walking himself into a trap.

THE FOX TRADES ONE HEN IN FOR ANOTHER

Hayes is also keeping her eyes on Wallace. He’s under investigation by the SA’s office, and she’s not ready for him to pay the price for one of her past mistakes. However, Wallace is always one step ahead of her and this time is no exception. Once she realizes her mistake, she’s willing and able to step aside and let their Chicago mate, Naomi, have a go.
