Just after finishing her World Tour in May, it has since been announced that Lovato is not only coming out with an interactive mobile game this summer and starting her own record label, but she has also debuted her new single ironically titled ‘Cool for the Summer’ July 1st.
Excuse me while I fangirl for a moment! This has been the first single released off her fifth studio album, following her previous 2013 self titled “Demi.”
Don’t tell your mother, but not only do I think the song sounds more mature breaking away from her teenage image with sexual innuendoes showcasing Lovato’s growth as an artist and an individual, but it also give the audience her mega powerhouse vocals with a pop rock dance anthem twist we just can’t seem to get enough of.
