Get ready as the next generation of evil Disney characters hit your small screen! Disney Channel’s original movie “Descendants” premieres Friday, July 31st (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson star in the live-action movie that – with a knowing wink at traditional fairy tales – fuses castles with classrooms to create a contemporary, music-driven story about the challenges in living up to parental and peer expectations.
The notable cast also includes Mitchell Hope, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Maz Jobrani, Kathy Najimy and the Tony Award-winning Kristin Chenoweth. The film is directed by famed choreographer Kenny Ortega, who did Michael Jackson’s final tour — and of course Newsies!
