Fall in Love with Lady Gaga’s 2017 Pepsi Halftime Performance! #MusicMonday

It’s #MusicMonday, and I’m sure you all tuned into that amazing Lady Gaga concert that was happening between some football game last night. And by that, I definitely mean Lady Gaga absolutely SLAYED her Super Bowl LI Pepsi Halftime show (and my entire life).

Her performance was a full 13 minutes of just Gaga!  She’s the first performer since Super Bowl 2010 when The Who performed to not have any guests or features join her. It was all Gaga the entire time, and I definitely am not complaining about it!

Gaga started her epic performance on the roof of the stadium singing “God Bless America” and “This Land is Your Land.”  She then took the greatest leap of faith and jumped off that roof to her stage.  Her set list included “Poker Face,” “Born This Way,” “Telephone,” “Just Dance,” “Million Reasons,” and of course, “Bad Romance.”

Here are some of my favorite moments of the performance!

First, of course was just her epic jump fall from the roof. I hope to trust someone as much as Gaga trusted those harnesses she was attached to, because she just straight up went for that fall, flipping and everything!

Second, can we just please take a moment for her stunning, silver, glittery Versace body suit because I was in tears falling in love!  The silver matching boots tied the entire outfit together.  And when she added that gold, glitter, spikey jacket on top, perfection was defined.  She even had a human mic following her and dancing with her while holding her mic as she sang. I would definitely be honored to be Lady Gaga’s mic stand. Who wouldn’t be?

And of course, we cannot forget her performance on the piano, disco ball stage singing “Million Reasons” when she literally said “Hey dad. Hi mom.”  Then she came into the crowd below, and sang while hugging someone in the audience.  Trust me, she wasn’t the only one crying … I wish I was being hugged by Gaga while I was crying, but whatever!

Lastly, we cannot forget that epic ending when she not only mic dropped, but spiked that mic, caught the football, and jumped into who knows where!  She jumped into my heart is what happened! Nothing will ever slay my life the way that Gaga performance did! So much love for Lady Gaga!
