Tandy and Tyrone are two completely different people from very separate backgrounds. Tnady has the power to produce light daggers. While Tyrone can wrap people in darkness. They soon realize that they may be better together than they are apart. Their feelings for each other start to take a toll and make their lives even more complicated.

Tandy begins the story as a privileged little girl. Her family is destroyed by a life changing event. Now in her late teens, she unexpectedly runs into a boy named Tyrone who sparks big life changing events.

Tyrone is the guy in the class who always wanted to prove he was fearless. Life eventually took everything precious to him away, and he accepted that being afraid was a big part of life. Now older and more sheltered, he closes himself off until he meets a girl named Tandy.

Cloak & Dagger has been in the works for five years and is a co-production of Marvel Studios and ABC Signature Studios. Joe Pokaski executive produces with Jeph Loeb, who is also Marvel’s head of Television, and Jim Chory.

The Cloak and Dagger power couple, originally created to support the “Say No to Drugs” campaign, has been around since the 80’s. Drugs are forced upon the couple. Drugs triggered their powers to emit light daggers and engulf others in darkness. It will be interesting to see which way the directors and producers take the series.
