Ladies, the day is almost here that we have been waiting for! Jake Miller’s Overnight EP is about to drop August 19 — and it’s glorious y’all! This might be the best album I have heard all year and I wanted to share the wealth and give you a preview. The vibe is dance party worthy, so get ready!

Available now for pre-order, you also can get an instant download of the EP’s title track, “Overnight.”

Since the Warner Bros. Records singer’s last EP, “Rumors” was dropped in 2015, fangirls everywhere (including me) have been waiting for this day to come. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait!

Last December, I had the chance to talk with Jake (you can watch here) about the new “Overnight” EP in the works and he teased it would be more singing than rapping. He was right! It’s a bit more R&B with a pop flare to it.

Since I was able to get a sneak peek at the album before it comes out, I wanted to share the wealth. I’m breaking it all down for you here!

Overnight
This song is so catchy! Just try to listen without dancing. It’s tough not to! This song is already available on Spotify, so you can listen to it HERE.

Good Thing
It’s a good thing this song comes out tomorrow at midnight, because you all have to hear this song! Like Overnight, the song is super catchy. I definitely can see myself bumping this in the car and having a mini-dance party.

Parade
If you are a fan of some of the Justin Bieber, Diplo, Skrillex, Major Lazer collabs that have been going on lately, this song might remind you of that. It’s got that vibe to it. Y’all know I am a HUGE Justin Bieber fan, but Jake’s vocals are just much better.

Could’ve Been Me
This is my favorite song on the EP. I think I have played it a billion times already. It’s a bit more of a slower pace, but not quite a ballad. The background track to it is smooth.

Superhuman
A different tone to it than the rest of the songs, the 23-year-old talks about being superhuman. I kinda feel like the tone is a bit of a “super hero” theme song. It’s hard to describe, but when you hear it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. I think the music video to this would be so fun to make, if you go that route!

Tell Me You Love It
My first thought when hearing this song was 90’s Michael Jackson, which is a total compliment! There is a part where you start to think Jake’s going to rap, but then he goes back into singing! It’s a total slick song filled with confidence.

Astronaut
This is the slowest track on the EP. It’s a good chance to really hear the fantastic vocals Jake really has. I’d love to hear this song with just Jake and a guitar in concert! I feel like it would be so powerful.
