After debuting her self titled EP, Olivia Holt has been making waves with her music. Not only does her “Phoenix” music video have over 3 million views on YouTube and her song History is all over Radio Disney, but she is also now going on tour with Ryland Lynch!
Originally, Ryland and Olivia were supposed to go on tour this past summer, but they felt they didn’t want to rush the process. Olivia also felt like she wanted her fans to have more time with her music after the release of her EP before going on tour. This way, both Olivia and her fans could share in the experience together!
Recently, Olivia performed some “Swinghouse Sessions” for two of the songs on her EP: “In the Dark” and “Thin Air.” They were spectacularly moving and sensational performances that truly showcases her powerful voice! This girl can really SING! If anyone ever doubted her (I don’t know why you ever would), she just proved how truly gifted she is in these videos! Here are those two performances:

The one song I really wished she sang for the Swinghouse Sessions is History. This is my favorite song on her EP! Olivia Holt’s History has been hitting the waves of Radio Disney for a while now, and is now number 8 in Radio Disney’s Top Songs!
“History” is about how one could love a person who may seem so perfect. But they’re not the one for you. In the song she sings: “Baby you’re so perfect. But he’s the perfect one for me. ‘Cause we got history.” Basically someone from their history is even better than the “perfect person.” It might not have worked out before, but maybe this time it can.
Honestly, History is such a catchy song! I always find myself randomly singing the lyrics throughout the day! Makes me think of the non-existent guy from my own history!
