Aria is confronted by a reporter at Ezra’s apartment who is looking for answers about him and his long lost fiancee, Nicole, being reunited after she was abducted. Fiancee? Are we missing something here? Did Ezra forget to mention one major detail about his past relationship to Aria?

Emily has trouble with a student, Addison, who made claims to Paige that she was skipping practice because she is not comfortable with Emily being her coach. She even goes to lengths of accusing Emily watching the girls shower and inappropriately touching them during swim meets. Emily decides to continue the game to stop Addison from spreading rumors about her. In her favor, the claims come back to bite Addison when emails are forwarded to the principal about how she had plans to get rid of Emily as the swim coach. With Emily confronting Addison, she earned her puzzle piece that fits in the game, along with a text message stating: “embrace your darkness, it’s how you win the game.”

Side note: Later in the episode, Emily sees Jenna supposedly sending a texting message to Addison. Let me remind you of her full name in case you forgot… Addison Derringer. (A.D.?!) Could Jenna and Addison be working together- or is Emily just being paranoid?

Spencer makes her way to Detective Furey to confide in him, asking if he could make the search for Mary Drake a top priority. She even goes to the lengths of showing him the letter that the game gave her as her prize, claiming she ‘found it in her house.’ While Spencer is at the police station, a familiar face walks into Marco’s office. None other than Jenna Marshall. Jenna claims she was only ‘working’ with Noel Kahn the night Spencer was shot because she was afraid that he was going to come for her next, just like he hunted down Sara Harvey.

Marshall also claims that Noel Kahn was acting this way because he was money hungry now that his family cut him off financially. Jenna was supposedly left money from Charolette because

she wanted to pay for another eye surgery and Noel waned a cut of it; Jenna was too afraid to not go along with his plan.

Some other key facts to remember:

The Hastings put their house up for sale in hopes of severing ties with Rosewood and doing the right thing for their family.

Spencer no longer wants to work for her mother. Well… Mrs. Hastings. Could it be because she’s upset her parents kept this secret from her for so long?

Aria goes to confront Nicole about the supposed proposal between her and Ezra, but Holden stops her. She also considers postponing the wedding until she finds out where Ezra’s head is at.

Hanna is trapped in a store and has flashbacks of her time in the doll house. Meanwhile, Caleb confronts Jenna, telling her to watch her back.
