Last month, Sabrina Carpenter announced a new album. Now, “EVOLution,” is finally available for our enjoyment!
Her album of course features her single, “On Purpose,” but she also has nine new songs! EVOLution’s tracklist is:

I absolutely love all the songs! The album has been live on iTunes for only a few hours, and I’ve already listened to the entire album. And it is STILL on repeat!
I’ve been a huge fan of Sabrina’s since she started in “Girl Meets World” in June 2014. For someone so young, I thought she articulated so much through her music. Her voice is so smooth and soulful, it’s hard not to fall in love. When she released her debut album, “Eyes Wide Open,” in April 2015, I couldn’t stop listening to it.
Now I’m even more ecstatic with the release of this new album. Not only has her voice matured, but the songs she sings has much more depth in it.
Two of my favorite songs on this album are: “Feels Like Loneliness” and “All We Have Is Love.”
Feels Like Loneliness
The song has a jazzy beat behind it and makes you want to jazz snap along. The chorus has the lyrics “love feels like loneliness sometimes.” Throughout the song, there seems to some angst between two people who try to become a couple, but for one reason or another, never do. It’s as if the love is there, but nothing is allowing them to share the love with one another. It’s definitely a very real and raw song that I absolutely love!
All We Have Is Love
This song seems to be the opposite of “Feels Like Loneliness.” The lyrics is more hopeful and has a sense of having love in everything, even in the bad times. She sings that, “they can tear the whole house down” but then continues with “all we have is love.” It’s like no matter what happens, there will always be love.
