The 49th Annual CMA Awards Sneak Peak

Wednesday night is the biggest night it country music.  It’s “The 49th Annual CMA Awards” being broadcasted live on ABC Television Network. This is the eighth year Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will take on co-hosting duties together. Their dynamic personalities and effortless ability to entertain the crown make them easily fan favorites.

Rumor has it, you’ll want to tune-in right at 8pm when the show kicks-off with Carrie and Brad’s monologue. “If you don’t see the first 15 minutes of the CMA Awards live, you will be grasping for straws at the proverbial watercooler the next morning,” said CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern. “It is that good and it is just the beginning of a great night of entertainment.”

The women of country are already holding their own with 14 nominations between Miranda Lambert, Maddie & Tae, Kacey Musgraves and a Pop Hearts TV favorite, Kelsea Ballerini, who received her first nominations in 2015: Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year.

As for the sexy men, don’t worry, you will get to see some booty shaking’ action with performances by: Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt and Blake Shelton. What else could you ask for?! Oh that’s right a very hot and highly-anticipated collaboration between three-time nominee Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake!

Last, but certainly never least, country music veterans, Brooks & Dunn and Reba McEntire (Kelly Clarkson’s step-mom for you young readers) will also hit the stage for the second time, the first was the  2008 CMA Awards.
