Corrine vs. Taylor Part II

Last week we left off with Corrine and Taylor arguing, so naturally we had to pick right back up this week. Taylor thought she was going to sit down with Corrine and give her a piece of her mind but little did she know, Corrine had plans to flip the tables and “school” her. Corrine manages to silence Taylor by telling her that she has a bad attitude and no one in the house likes her. She feels that Taylor is  a “gross and nasty bully.” I’ve really got to hand it to Corrine though. She’s managed to go from the villain that every one hates to the girl with the nanny that we’re all secretly siding with. She actually ended up framing Taylor as the antagonist… props. I almost feel like the women in the house dislike Taylor more than Corrine at this point. Raven even says that knowing Taylor, she’s probably trying to “psychoanalyze” Corrine. Side note: Raven’s comments are my favorite. After the mini brawl, Corrine gets some one-on-one time with Nick. She ends up spilling the details about Taylor and making her look bad. Nick thanks Corrine with a kiss and encourages her to to continue with her maturity. Taylor is obviously messing with the wrong blonde.

Rose Ceremony

So I guess I should start off by saying that both Taylor and Corrine got a rose. I was just as confused as you are but maybe the show is saving them for a special date? *insert wink* We’ll talk about that later. Astrid and Sarah end up getting sent home which was actually really sad and disappointing. Both of them were adorable and normal. Apparently, that doesn’t mean anything this season. Ugh! Twitter was just as outraged by Sarah getting sent home as I was, so that made me feel a little better.

New Orleans One-On-One

Rachel got the first date in New Orleans. In case you don’t remember who Rachel is, she was the first impression rose recipient. She and Nick spent the day exploring the French Market. Nick says that him and Rachel have the “most explosive chemistry” out of all the relationships. I really did not foresee this connection. Rachel and Nick seem to really like each other and I’m predicting that she’ll go far. Their date also made me desperately crave beignets which sucked. At the dinner portion of their date, Nick tells Rachel that she’s surpassed all his expectations. Then Nick goes as far as to ask her about her family and sort of insinuates that he plans to meet her family. I mean, he even asks her what he should call her dad! I’m pretty proud of Nick for his relationship with Rachel. She seems like the type of mature woman he should be with. Rachel talks a bit about her concerns and insecurities and Nick flat out says, “I might be breaking the rules here but I’m super into you.” Wowza! Rachel says she really likes Nick and this has been the best date of her life. She gets a rose (obvi).

Haunted Group Date

The group date this week took place at the most haunted plantation in all of Louisiana. There is one extra girl on this date; a little girl named Mae. Mae is a ghost who apparently haunts the plantation in search her little doll. What the f*&$ ABC! Raven says if a ghost approaches her she will rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Classic Raven… lol! The women and Nick spend the entire date in this haunted AF plantation and if that’s not enough, they spontaneously find a Ouija board. Some spooky stuff happens in the house but I’m just going to pretend it was the bachelor interns and not Mae… okay? Thanks.  Later, Nick tries to reconnect with Danielle because they really haven’t had much alone time since their date. During his alone time with Raven, she accidentally tells him she’s already fallen in love with him. Woops! It’s okay though because she owned it! Nick ends up giving the rose to Danielle.

Two-On-One

Yup, you guessed it! The infamous 2-on-1 was this week and our two lucky contestants were Corrine and Taylor. These quotes pretty much sum up the date:

“No votes for Taylor. Make America Corrine again.” – Corrine

“I don’t have a nanny. I have a masters degree.” – Taylor

Nick takes the women to the bayou where they meet with a tarot card reader. During Taylor’s reading, Corrine takes the time to tell Nick how she feels about Taylor. When it’s Corrine’s turn with the reader, Nick tells Taylor what Corrine said. Taylor tries to minimize the damage but I think it was too late. Corrine asks the reader for a voodoo doll and surprisingly gets one… creepy. Before Nick joins them, the women take a minute to take jabs at each other and question the other person’s career. Nick ends up giving Corrine the rose which leaves Taylor completely speechless. Corrine and Nick get on a boat and as Corrine freakishly hugs her voodoo doll, they sail off to dinner. Taylor is left to spend the remainder of her life in the bayou…jk. She attends some weird ritual ceremony and decides that she isn’t going to go home until she speaks her mind.

Taylor’s Revenge

Later while Corrine and Nick are at dinner, they have no idea that Taylor is about to bust a Chad and crash the party. Nick and Corrine are in the middle of deep conversation when Taylor bursts through the door! What happens next? You’ll have to read next week to find out because once again we were left hanging!
