What can you tell us about Elliot and Alan’s wedding?
There are a few hiccups along the way to the wedding. As I say that, it sounds completely normal. The first hurdle they have to get over is one person feels as though they are not as involved as the other.

Then they must get a blessing from a spiritual leader and there is a problem there too.

Will Elliot’s parents be there?
Ummm…. I think they may have had some extra’s at the table read to represent them, but they’re not a major part of the episode.

Is Gabby going to somehow ruin the wedding?
She pretty much stays out of it this time, problems arise without her.

Will viewers be able to travel with Elliot and Alan on their honeymoon or at least see where they’re going?
I think that it has been talked about, yes. I think that might be one of the sticking points when one of the grooms is not feeling as included as the other is one — might be one the details in the issues they are having and where the actual honeymoon is taking place. It’s talked about for sure.

The Christmas episode coming up, can you tell us anything about that?
I really just enjoyed feeling like it was Christmas in the middle of the year. As actors we are all trying to create realities for ourselves. When the set is dress like Christmas, we are dressed in green and red, we are talking about Christmas and what it means, it becomes real to you. We shot that episode over the summer and it felt like Christmas.

What has been you favorite episode you’ve filmed?
Honestly, the one we are shooting is the one I am enjoying the most.

Who would you like to see guest star on an episode of Young & Hungry?
I haven’t given it that much thought. I think if I thought of someone really cool and then it didn’t happen, I would be sad.

Was the hotdog part of opening scene planned or did it just happen coincidentally?
The shot itself was planned. It was on the shot list. The funny thing is, when something keeps whizzing by your head, and they keep saying “Keep your eyes open! Keep your eyes open!” I thought that they were not happy with the shots, since they kept telling me to keep my eyes open. I didn’t really keep my eyes open, but they still used the shot.

How has it been like for you to transition from a role in a show that catered to an older demographic to one that caters to a younger one?
I think that because the two shows I did before this were single-camera and this one is multi-camera, I didn’t really think of the transition being from one demographic to another, but the format was different. That’s how I looked at the transition. You’re right, the demographics were different. In the beginning it wasn’t an easy transition. I was a little unsure of myself. I guess I got some confidence and hoped that it would work out and it did.

Have you noticed the change on social media?
For sure. I think it parallels my own growing confidence in social media. I think I’m more connected in social media and so are my new viewers. I certainly have much more social media contact now than I have in the past. I like it and it’s a good thing.
