Happy August, my friends! With the start of a new month there comes so much new music for you to start listening to! This past weekend, as July came to a close, the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Andy Grammer, and The Girl and The Dreamcatcher aka the name of Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan‘s musical duo, all came out with new music!
To start off, Sabrina Carpenter has been on such a roll this summer! Not only has her show “Girl Meets World” been trending and sparking conversation worldwide, but she also starred in the 100th DCOM, “Adventures in Babysitting” and sang the movie’s single, “Wildside,” with her co-star Sofia Carson. Now she’s back at it again with a whole new soulful single called “Purpose.” At 17, Sabrina is already taking the music industry by storm!
Next up we have Andy Grammer! You all know and love him from his songs, “Fine by Me” and “Honey I’m Good” and now he’s released yet another amazing single called, “Fresh Eyes.” This song has more of a laid back, acoustic sound to it compared to his upbeat “Honey I’m Good” but will make you fall in love over and over again! Definitely a song you can unwind and just relax to.
And of course last but not at all least we have The Girl and The Dreamcatcher! If you don’t already know Dove Cameron and her on and off screen boyfriend Ryan McCartan have come together to form a musical duo called The Girl and The Dreamcatcher. They’ve been releasing covers and singles together for a while now, but now they finally have an EP out called “Negatives.” Check out their music video for their song “Glowing in the Dark” and of course be sure to check out ALL their new music on “Negatives.”
