The most highly anticipated Netflix show, Outer Banks is returning July 30th. Before the adventure begins, 18-year-old actress, Julia Antonelli gave us a sneak peek at what to expect for season 2!
When Outer Banks premiered in April 2020, the local teens (the “Pogues”) of the Outer Banks in North Carolina gave us an adventure we didn’t know we needed. The first season received rave reviews and instantly gained a strong following.
Julia plays Wheezie Cameron, the younger sister of Sarah Cameron and the daughter of Ward Cameron, one of the main characters and a primary antagonist. Wheezie is the type of sister who wants to be involved in everything. She can even be a bit of a snitch, especially with her sister’s boyfriends. In season 2, Wheezie has a pivotal part in the series. She gave us a bit of a teaser about in our interview below.
Season Two also finds John B and Sarah on the run – and in over their heads – in the Bahamas. New friends also bring new foes as they’re back on the trail of the gold, while the stakes for Kiara, Pope, and JJ rapidly escalate at home. The $400M is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a new-found secret reunite the group for a fresh mission? The adventure of a lifetime awaits, but uncharted waters ahead mean our Pogues must do all they can to make it out alive.
