Pop singer-songwriter Bailey Baum recently revealed her debut EP Over It. We had the chance to talk to Bailey about the raw and emotional tracks. The 24-year old shared with us the process in which the 5-tracks were put together. They explore the confusing yet painfully familiar feelings of despair, sadness, frustration, and regret.
The EP features past singles Bad For Me, Over It, and Take Me All The Way. As well as two brand new songs, Not Missing You and Thinkin Bout Me.
Raised in Dallas and now based in Los Angeles, Bailey Baum has a knack for capturing the emotion of what it’s like to be a twenty-something woman navigating life, love, heartbreak, friendships, and everything in-between. With reflective lyrics, stirring soulful vocals, and clever pop melodies, her songs are relatable, but never predictable.
Over the past few years, Bailey has perfected her dreamy, left-of-center pop style that draws comparisons to contemporaries like BANKS, Lana Del Rey, and Lennon Stella. To date, her singles have amassed over 7 million streams and have landed on top-tier editorial playlists such as Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds,’ ‘Indie Pop,’ and ‘Chill Vibes,’ and Apple Music’s ‘Feels.’
