This weeks episode picks back up with Mariana’s boyfriend problem, her internship application, Ximena and Poppy awaiting to find out about their parents detainment, and Jude’s live video game stream. Let’s get right into it!
Wyatt vs. Logan For Mariana’s Heart

After class, Mariana, accompanied by Poppy, walks up to her teacher who is in charge of ABCC steam club and asks if he would write her a recommendation letter for the summer internship program she is applying to. While he agrees to write her a letter, he informs her that she needs to start thinking of her idea now since other students applying to the program have been working on it for months.
As the conversation comes to an end and she walks back into the school, Wyatt walks up to her. He asks if she has any food restrictions because he is going to make her dinner tonight. While she seems hesitant at first, she agrees to the plans later that evening.
Later that night on her date with Wyatt, they get deep into conversation about his mother and his life growing up since his father died. He also tells her that his mother will not be able to make his graduation since she has work and asks if she will be there for him. Of course she will…as long as she doesn’t choose Logan, right?
Mariana Steals Emma’s Sketch
The next day, while Mariana is doing homework, Logan calls her and reminds her they made plans. As she walks outside, she has to close her eyes as he leads her outside to a picnic. In the picnic basket is a beautiful gold bracelet as a congratulations for making the derby team and all of the hard work she has put in. He tells her how special she is to him and how much he likes her. Who will she end up choosing?
After her date with Logan, Mariana talks to Poppy as she struggles to choose who she should pick since she likes them both. While talking, she is working on her sketch for the internship program and needs more scratch paper. She walks in to grab more scratch paper in Jesus’ room she finds what appears to be Emma’s sketch. She ends up stealing Emma’s design and presents it to the teacher as her own. After she meets with him, Emma comes in and presents the same sketch. Uh oh…I wonder what will happen next.
Ximena and Poppy’s Parents Hearing Decision
Callie confides in Ximena and questions why her old professor would tell her art isn’t her calling. While they discuss, Callie picks up some weird vibes from Ximena. She finds out that Ximena’s parent’s have moved back to San Diego and have their hearing on Friday. She tells Callie her lawyer thought they could put together a video with the footage they have from the protests an everything her and her family has gone through recently.
While they are talking, Aaron comes up and asks them about helping out with his panel. They agree to do it and when Ximena leaves, Callie and Aaron talk while walking to class. She tells him she was just surprised he was seeing someone so soon despite appreciating how honest he was.
Later that night, Callie has Brandon watch her video she put together for Ximena’s parents and asks him if he could write a song to add to the video. But the next day when Callie adds his new song , she feels it overwhelms it instead and the video is better off with no music.
A Beautiful Moment Between Ximena and Callie
While Callie shows Ximena the video she created, it gets too emotional for the moment and Ximena needs a break. They start talking about Aaron and his new girlfriend Amanda. When Callie tells her that Aaron won’t wait for her, Ximena tells her that she would wait forever for her. Does this mean…
In the middle of the beautiful moment, Brandon interrupts and shows them the new music he created with the help of this composer. They tell him it is beautiful and perfect for the video.
Time For The Hearing
Finally, the moment everyone has been waiting for. The hearing for Ximena and Poppy’s parents. For awhile, it appears as if it is going to work out for the Sinfuego’s. However, it all comes to an abrupt halt as the judge only grants them 30 days to get everything together until they will be deported back to their native country.
Callie feels hopeless. She wants to do something that will them. That is when she decides to appeal her art school decision and change her major to law. She talks to the law professor that was extremely impressed with her at Aaron’s panel.
The End of The Live Stream

During Jude’s video game stream, one of their fans asks what is up with Jude’s hair and why he dresses like a banker on vacation…it seems to really hit him harder than expected. After the stream, Declan tells him that he likes his cute nerdy look. Then Taylor says everyone has their thing and Declan tells him he needs a cool guy makeover.
The next morning when Jude leaves his room for school, Lena is totally taken aback by his new look. When he gets to school, the kids are so mean….”You know Halloween isn’t until October. Who are you trying to be, someone cool?” Poor Jude, he decides to revert back to his old look.
Later that day, during the live stream, Declan tells Jude to show the fans his new look. While Jude is clearly uncomfortable and hesitant, Declan persuades him to change in front of the camera…oh no. I sense trouble.
Jude Gets Caught
When Stef comes down, she finds Lena watching Jude’s live streams. Then they get to the part where he changes in front of the camera just as he walks in. I knew I sensed trouble. They tell him the language and his behavior is totally inappropriate and that he can’t do it anymore. They decide to give him one more chance to clean it up though.
When Jude explains the situation to Declan, he says he is out. However, later that night Jude gets a text from Declan saying to meet him at his house for the live stream. Well, I sense more trouble coming Jude’s way.
In Other Family News

Stef meets with Kyle and investigates the suspicious activity outside his home. She believes Officer Grey is harassing him.
While Grace leaves for her spa weekend with her mother, she asks what Brandon is going to do while she is gone and what he is going to do with his life…
He explains to her that he has to wait another year to apply to music school. She tells him that one thing she learned while being sick was that time is precious. You can wait around to apply to colleges or you can make something happen now.
The words really hit Brandon hard and he decides to meet up with a film scorer. After talking to the film scorer and creating the perfect piece for Callie’s video he decides to apply to college for film scoring in LA.
