We chatted with the star of the upcoming Disney+ series, Turner & Hooch, actor, Matt Hamilton! He gave us the details about playing Trent Havelock, a Senior Deputy Marshal to Scott Turner, played by Josh Peck. Plus, he shared we can expect from the reboot of the classic 1989 comedy which featured Tom Hanks. Then, we talked about all about the dogs on set… and what stunts went really, really wrong!! The hour long 12 episode order centers around “Scott Turner,” his new surroundings and the new dog he inherits as a big unruly dog. He soon realized the dog he didn’t want might be the partner he actually needs. Matt’s character Trent, loves to chase down bad guys and take all the credit, especially publicly. He even loves the attention, fame, glory and everything that comes with it, but the one thing he isn’t a fan of is, dogs.
Turner & Hooch not only stars Matt, but also Josh Peck, Lyndy Fonseca, Carra Petterson, Anthony Ruivivar, to name a few.
The series hails from writer/executive producer Matt Nix from Burn Notice and Disney-owned Studio 20th Century Fox TV. Turner & Hooch is set to premiere July 21, 2021 on Disney+.
