Audrey Hsieh, star of Netflix’s Mixtape chatted with Pop Hearts TV about playing quirky 12-year-old, Ellen, the friend and neighbor of Beverly. The duo, along with the intimidatingly tough, Nicky, go on a musical quest. Through the discovery of a mixtape Beverly found crafted by her teen parents, she hopes to learn more about them!
Audrey gave us the deets on working with the incredible cast including: Julie Bowen, Gemma Brooke Allen, Olga Petsa, Nick Thune and Jackson Rathbone. Plus, we talked about how she originally auditioned for a different role. How she gets into character — and playing a 12-year-old, when she is 17 and how she hopes to use this film as leverage for something very competitive coming up in her life!
