AMANDA VIES TO BE A PARENT
In this episode, we get to peer into each character’s parenting needs, wants, and skills from being a dad, to a mom, to an adoptive parent, to an overprotective sibling, to a step-parent, to a missing parent, and everything in between!
First, we learn that Amanda and her husband parted ways due to their differences in wanting kids. And later, her husband reveals to Eric that it’s not that he didn’t want kids, it’s that Amanda couldn’t conceive and she refused to go the adoption route that he was fighting for.

CHARLIE’S ADOPTED PARENTS COME OUT OF HIDING
Next, we meet the man and woman who adopted Kate’s son. And though the mom got hostile with Kate just prior to her death, it’s easy to understand their grievances with their son’s mom showing up out of the blue and wanting contact with the boy they raised.
DANNY REMAINS STEADFAST IN THE HUNT FOR HIS DAUGHTER
Then, we find out Danny is on the run from his bench warrant and Andrea is covering for him, but only because she understands his pain of being separated from his little girl.
ANDREA’S PARENTING TROUBLES
Perhaps Andrea thinks if she helps a father reunite with his daughter, that her own daughter and she will somehow work out their issues as well and finally come together as a family. But something tells me blood isn’t thicker than water drugs, and her daughter is grappling with a problem.
PATRICK’S MISSING PARENT
Back at the office, the tension is rising between Eric and his younger brother Patrick who is left without much of a family paying attention to him. The only support system he seems to have currently is his sexual wife who’s got a big beef with Eric. Also, she’s hiding a few secrets under that tight mini skirt — perhaps the culprit behind the missing security cam tapes and also Neil’s mistress?
And our cliffhanger for the night is finding out Patrick has signed off on an important business deal right under Eric’s nose.
