TEEN CHOICE 2015 celebrates the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web airing Sunday, Aug. 16th (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT) on FOX.
The top nominees gunning for the surfboard are, FOX’s breakout hit, “Empire,” leading the way with seven nominations. If you haven’t see the show yet, please binge watch ASAP before season 2 comes out. You can thank me later.
“Bad Blood” pop princess, Taylor Swift and sequel, “Pitch Perfect 2” follow with six nominations each. Our girls of “Pretty Little Liars” came out with five nominations this year — Do you think A will show up?
Some of the performances we can’t wait to see include: Choice Female Music Group nominee Little Mix, making their U.S. television debut singing “Black Magic,” the first single from their upcoming album. How catchy is that song by the way?! The Aussie hotties and six time nominees from 5 Seconds of Summer will hit the stage singing their recently released song, “She’s Kinda Hot.”
This year the folks at FOX switched it up and asked the fans to come up with the design on the iconic surfboard “trophy.” Additionally, fans can suggest new ‘Award Categories’ and let FOX know their favorite categories from past TEEN CHOICE Awards.
International superstar Britney Spears, Josh Hutcherson (“The Hunger Games” franchise), Michelle Rodriguez (“Furious 7”), Ellen DeGeneres (“The Ellen Degeneres Show”), Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance”), Adam DeVine (“Pitch Perfect 2,” “Modern Family”), Chloë Grace Moretz (“Dark Places”) and Jake T. Austin (“The Fosters”) are among the Choice Stars scheduled to appear.
