SEASON 3 IS OVER! Freeform’s “The Fosters” aired it’s season 3 finale this week and it was full of CRAZY drama! It has been a pleasure writing these weekly recaps for you guys. I can’t wait to do it again next season! Read on below all about “Kingdom Come” and the drama that went on.

Callie
Callie is pissed about Jack’s death. She is mad that Pierce even got Jack placed with him in the first place. She wants to cancel the “Fost and Found” phone app launch party but Justina (guest star Kelli Williams) tell her that she can’t cancel because it is not just a launch party, it’s also a political event for the foster reform bill and a bunch of senators and higher-up government officials are gonna be there. So they must truck on.
But before they do, Stef does some research on how Pierce got custody in the first place. She finds that he got Jack through a privatized company that is just a big scam in disguise. Sadly there is nothing they can do to fix that.
At the party we find out that Justina has been getting cozy with that exact company, thanks to Daphne (recurring guest star Daffany Clark) and her new job. Callie and Daph find a check made out to Justina. This is the tipping point for Callie who decides to go against Justina’s wishes, delivering a powerful speech that makes sure to mention Jack and all that Justina has been lying about and covering up.
Callie’s one mistake in all this is going against someone and not having the evidence to back it up because later that night she is being hounded over the phone by reporters looking to get the latest scoop. All of the lies have built up and are ready to destroy Callie. She breaks down because of it when she is giving Brandon his birthday present.

She avoids the phone calls but what she can’t void is cameras in her face the next day when a reporter corners her at school. It turns out that Justina has leaked to the public that the reason why Callie has a vendetta is because Justina knows about her sleeping with Brandon. This causes her to come clean to the mamas in Lena’s office. I HOPE SHE WILL STILL BE AN ADAMS FOSTER IN SEASON 4!!!
Brandon
Brandon is 18 finally! Brandon’s big storyline this week is with Cortney (guest star Denyse Tontz). She has been kicked out of her house and robbed of her money by her husband/baby daddy/ scum bag. So what does Brandon do? HE BUYS HER A HOUSE USING MONEY FROM HIS COLLEGE FUND. Why?! Let’s hope he makes some smarter decisions next season.
Jude
Jude seems to be confused about sexuality and spirituality after all that has happened to him in the past few months. So confused that he thinks he is interested good ole’ Taylor (recurring guest star Izabela Vidovic). They flirt it up this episode and the whole family is very confused.
Jude thinks that God is punishing him for being gay because he took away the two boy Jude ever felt something for.
He even goes as far as to kiss Taylor. The thing is though that you can tell from his face afterward that he doesn’t really like her in the way that he thinks he should. I can’t wait to see where this storyline goes next season.
Mariana
After last week’s revelation that Mariana is still in love with Mat (recurring guest star Jordan Rodriguez), Mari is conflicted. She doesn’t want to hurt Nick (guest star Louis Hunter) but she also wants to be with Mat. Mat also doesn’t want to hurt Zoey so instead they decide to sneak around until they can figure out a way to break up with their current significant others.
Sadly Nick see them kissing at Brandon’s party and decides to pout and make bad decisions by catching the warehouse that houses the R&J sets on fire. Then the next day bring a gun to school. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN JUNE?!
Elsewhere/ Final Thoughts
-Monte gets to keep her job!
-Sally’s mom thinks she’s slick by trying to insinuate that Lena & Monte are a couple.
-Mike & Ana are OFFICIALLY A COUPLE!!!
-Gabe is out of jail! Yet chances are he might be going back since Jesus tells his parole officer what really happened & the fact that he was building sets around a ton of teenagers.
-AJ was back this week. Yet he was in one scene and had no lines.
-Lena may be in trouble because of Gabe helping with set building.
-I REALLY HOPE THAT ZOEY GETS CHARACTER REHAB BECAUSE I LOVE ANNA GRACE BARLOW!!!
-Plus… Can we have Lou back some how next season?!
