As we are preparing for the very anticipated American Music Awards 2018, it only seems right we take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of our favorite moments throughout the years that took place during the AMAs.

    1. Joe Jonas Falls On Stage – AMAs 2007

Who can forget the moment that Joe Jonas fell at the AMAs 11 years ago? I know we sure can’t. He burst through a    broken glass door on stage after his shoe got caught on a ledge where the glass used to be. He recovered quickly and got back up on his feet – What are the odds of another unexpected fall at the AMAs this year?

    2. Selena Gomez’s First Performance Post-Surgery – AMAs 2017

In 2017, only a few months after Selena underwent a kidney transplant, she announced her first performance post-surgery would be at the AMAs, with her then, new hit single, ‘Wolves.’ Selena is so brave and as if we already didn’t have a million reasons to love her, this made us admire her even more.

   3. Taylor Swift’s Crazy ‘Blank Space’ Performance – AMAs 2014

Anyone remember when Taylor performed her hit, ‘Blank Space’ at the AMAs as she dangled from the ceiling…fed her boyfriend that poison apple…set everything on fire…and made crazy eyes at the camera? Well, we sure do. We can’t really forget that performance.

4. Justin Bieber Wins ‘Favorite Artist’ – AMAs 2010

Okay, anyone remember when JB was just a little baby and won the ‘Favorite Artist’ award in 2010?! That seems like forever ago but we will always remember that special moment! He even said, “I’m from the smallest town in the world of, like, 30,000 people,” he told everyone. “I never thought this was possible.”

5. Ariana Grande’s ‘Focus’ – AMAs 2015

Last but certainly not least, we want to remember Ariana’s incredible performance of her single, ‘Focus.’ She started the performance off wearing long white gloves and a shimmering strapless gown, but quickly removed both gloves and the bottom half of her dress to give us all a stellar show.
