It’s a happy music Monday when we get to listen to “Sad Song” by We the Kings! Especially when this version of “Sad Song” includes our girl Olivia Holt.
The original “Sad Song” was released in 2013 by the rock band We The Kings. Since then, they released their RJ Remix version featuring Olivia Holt! The fresh new remix gives the song some new life.
Travis Clark, the lead singer of We The Kings truly enjoyed working with Olivia. He had nothing but good things to say about his collaboration:
“Working with Olivia was amazing, she came in and we were immediately like best friends. After joking around with each other for about an hour, we started working on “Sad Song.” Her voice is incredible and fit really well with mine, so after about another hour we were done!”
I definitely think it was an incredible collaboration. I have always been a fan of Olivia’s music, and this just increased the love I have for her!
The song is both available on iTunes and Spotify! I know I’ve already had it on repeat, and you should do yourself a favor and give it a listen yourself!
