Singer and songwriter, Alexandria Corn chatted about her new, emotional song Back Together Again.
The tear-jerking single was written by Alexandria Corn, and Khiana Meyer. Being an animal-lover her whole life, Corn wondered why there weren’t many songs about dogs. After becoming a dog mom, herself to 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Shamus, he became her inspiration to write what so many people feel.
After posting a 30-second chorus reveal, Corn gained over 1-million views in 24 hours. Thousands of people around the world have already used her sound on TikTok, showing off their best furry friends.
“I have spent years trying to write something with meaning, that isn’t your everyday typical love/breakup song. I had no idea that this song would even see the light of day, let alone, inspire so many people. I feel like I am creating a sort of movement with this song. I’m just glad that I could put into words what so many people are feeling about their pets.”
In an effort to be the change she wants to see in the industry, Corn created “Back Together Again” in less than two days.
“I finished writing the song after I saw how well it performed on TikTok. People kept asking when the full song was coming out. I had the song produced, mixed, mastered and uploaded into distribution all within 24 hours. It was quite an experience to say the least! I cannot wait for this song to be heard!”
